Conscious living, eating and digestion tips for balanced health and wellbeing

I promise promise PROMISE 🙏🏼 that practicing the following rituals on a daily and regular basis can significantly enhance your health, strengthen your immunity and prevent daily discomfort and pain.

1.Practice rituals like stretching, meditation Yoga, and or chanting to energize the body and mind, and enhance consciousness and wellbeing.

2. Conscious breathing - tune into your breath throughout the day and observe how you are breathing - make sure you're breathing correctly.

3. Start your morning with warm water (add spices, mineral salt and or raw honey)

4. Eat a warm breakfast- avoid eating before 8:30 / 9am - digestion is at its peak between 10am - 2pm 🌞

5. Consume a pre digestive before meals (learn more about this and what will work for you in my digestion workshop available here)

6. Eat fresh wholesome meals made with nutrient rich healing spices- avoid eating leftovers overs after 24 hours

7. Warm meals (especially for breakfast and dinner is recommended)

8. Take 3-5 hour breaks from eating in between meals - avoid mindless snacking - this supports digestive health and nutrient absorption. It prevents toxic build up in the body which can develop from the fermentation of food in the gut due to the body constantly trying to digest food; each time you eat something before the body has finished digesting the last thing you ate, it's sets the aside to start digesting the new food that's coming in. Digestion takes a lot of energy - let's give it support.

9. Practice conscious eating (eating without distractions and chewing properly) and good posture while eating.

10. Avoid eating or drinking things that are ice cold or frozen on a regualr basis.

11. Avoid or limit eating meat on a daily basis - meat takes the longest time for the body to digest. If you wish to eat meat it's good to know that a meatball size of meat is all the body can easily process at one sitting.

12. Soak your legumes, grains, nuts, seeds and dried fruit overnight or for a few hours before consuming - rinse and wash well before cooking or consuming. Also important that you remove the skins from almonds before consuming. These practices support digestive health and prevents ill effects from eating these foods. Example, gas and bloating.

13. Practice 15- 20 minutes of grounding and connecting with nature on a daily/ regular basis.

14. Drink water with electrolytes throughout the day (when you are thirsty and away from food) no need to overdo - you should he getting most of your water from the foods you eat and how you prepare and cook them.

15. Avoid eating after 7pm to support efficient liver and organ detoxification. This supports good sleep, healthy digestion, detoxification, and rejuvenation.

16. Off of electronics by 9/ 9: 30 pm. The body should be calm, relaxed and ready to sleep at 10 / 10:30 pm to support the detoxification process that happens between 10pm and 2am.

17. Rise with the sun, smile, and give thanks for life 🙏🏼 💫
